The Lignum Agri Advisory Team has worked with financial associations/promotional bodies, government agencies, development agencies, International NGOs and Intergovernmental organizations. Initial projects focused on assessment, identification and development relating to improved CSR investment standards, Social Finance methodologies and Impact Investing & Venture Philanthropy investment strategies to serve the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) working in consultation with IFSC Ireland, IDA Ireland, Irish AID, Matheson and the Irish Funds Industry Association (representing the world’s major commercial banks, professional service firms, venture capital firms & private equity firms, etc.).
The Venture Philanthropy & Social Impact Team today works closely with the COL Research & Education Advisory Unit and the COL Marketing & Media Unit to provide broad-based advisory services on social finance, impact investing, sustainable development, agri-tech, sustainable energy, food/water security, sanitation and social innovation initiatives with the goal of creating, sourcing and vetting low-cost sustainable development solutions working with grassroots/NGO projects & initiatives supported by intergovernmental organisations & state agencies: IMF, USAID, FAO, UNEP, UNICEF, etc.
